Every wednesday, I have this module called Environmental Science, which to me is the lamest mod ever. The prof really treat us like we're kindergarten kids. This was last week's activity. To take a group photo with some tree. ZZZZZ 

I love how awkward we all look in this picture. The girls on both my left and right are exchange students from NUS. Pretty cool. They are on partial exchange which means they are still doing some mods at NUS and some at SMU. I didn't know we can do that? It's so fun!!!!!! 

I heart Pocky! It's like my go to snack every time.

And so I've started doing my CIP and the kids here are so friendly and cute and they are always like " zeh zeh teach me!" and they will fight to sit beside you. So cute. 

Friday was Valentine's day which coincides with the chinese Valentine's day as well. I heard this happens only once every 9 years so it's the perfect day to tie the knot!!! I have always been fond of Valentine's day because it is the most happening day in secondary school! Every girl will come to school prepared with a huge bag of goodies, and give them to whoever they saw. Every one is super friendly that day and plus you receive lots of treats like cookies, candies, sweet notes, and thoughtful little gifts. But I'm no longer that little girl. I'm the most awkward on Vday, it's like I really don't know what to do because I really don't see a need for a particular day to express your love haha. But seeing all the annoying news feed on instagram makes me want to celebrate it too.

Haha. You know what I mean. 

My last memory of Vday was when I was 17.. and that was also the first time I received a bouquet of flowers, and my then boyfriend and I had a picnic at botanic gardens. I can't believe I could still remember but I think it's due to the fact that that was the only time I celebrated Vday. 

Really can't remember what I did for the rest of the years lol.

This is my first official Valentine's Day with Josh! 

He deliberately ended work early to have dinner with me. ^^

 His Dad dropped a message in his family chat to ask all his sons to bring their partners over to have a group Valentine's Day dinner together. 

Sounds brilliant to me, since we won't have to mosh with all the annoying couples holding bouquet of flowers and pay exorbitant prices at restaurants that make full use of this once-in-a-year opportunity to inflate their prices. 

Plus it was the last day of CNY, so I can still make it to bai nian and he can have reunion dinner with his family. I was trapped in the jam for so long. I sat in the cab for 45 mins and the cabfare was $24 omg?? Camwhore on the cab to pass time hehe

When I reached I felt so bad cos I only reached at 8 when I was supposed to be there at 7! But thankfully dinner wasn't ready yet. Everyone was just so busy doing their fair share of cooking. His dad was the timer of the day. He has a really lovely family. Ok so when I reached, this boy was kneading his pizza dough! I was so surprised!! I love pizzas !! And the other day I randomly tweeted " make pizzas with me" and he really did it ( even though it's more like he made the pizza himself ) haha. He did it from scratch, I was so touched :') And the thought that he went to the supermarket to get the ingredient was so sweet!!

This is the first time he's cooking for some one else, and also my first time having a guy cook for me!!! It felt really nice and special :)

I diced the tomatoes and capsicums up for him~ 

 His elder brother was steaming cod fish, cooking mushroom & broccoli soup, his younger brother was doing another pizza, and his dad prepared steak and his mom made some Fish maw Yong Tau Foo . We also had asparagus wrapped in bacon. Yum!

Josh's creation. Every one was singing him so much praise. Haha. I love it so much I had 4 slices!!! 

Now I'm going to ask him to make me this every Valentine's day haha. 

I look so pregnant Could have brownie and icecream for dessert but i was just soooo full I forgo the dessert SO SAD T_T 

We then went to Embassy .. which was partly why I said my Vday was unforgettable this year lol. this deserves a post on it's own. Will blog about it in another separate entry!! 

Caught Lone Survivor yesterday it was so good! There isn't much story line or plot to it, but the acting was seriously superb. Ladies, please bring tissue and make up to touch up after the show because if you're a crybaby like me you will end up crying like mad. The show is so heart wrenching. I know I wasn't the only one crying because I heard so many other people sniffing. 

Went to Butter last night!!! Omg it was SUPER FUN!  Like for once I really felt like I belong there.  Usually I'm always kinda just entertaining myself with Mario lol. but yesterday I was mingling and hoping from tables to tables like a socialite LOL!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHA JUST KEEDING. 

Everyone got drunk pretty quickly I believe. The girl on the most right is Jermaine! Josh said she was my classmate in SMU but I didn't really know who she was then . Singapore is so small.

What I really like about Butter is that they always give out all these cute props that just makes camwhoring so legit. Lol. I'm so sad I forgot to bring one of these bunny ears back :(
