Had a terrible terrible Friday. Worst day in 2013.

Saturday took a turn.. a really unexpected sweet turn. Went over to J's place to pass him a box of stuff, and he invited me for dinner with his family! DID I SAY FAMILY!!!!!!????

He brought me out for dinner with HIS FAMILY O.O
I know meeting the family is no longer much of a deal since boys are always bringing girls home, but he's the kind that doesn't anyhow girls home so i was like omg damn happy la 疯掉 . :'D On top of that, I thought I was never good enough to be introduced to his parents.. .so when he did that unexpectedly, I was so surprised!!!
And because I didn't know I'd be having dinner with them.. I was wearing denim shorts, a top and slippers. Yikes. What kind of impression was that !?!
He suggested we go to Pasar Bella so his grand mother can go see how a farmers' market looks like. I big love how family oriented he is. You know if you are dating a guy who doesn't give a fuck about his family.. he probably won't give a fuck when you have your own family next time? Very bad !!
We had our dinner there! They ordered oysters, clams ( if you go and eat at the seafood restaurant pls try the garlic butter it is the best sauce ever to go with seafood!! ) and a steamed fish.. which I thought was damn ex because you have to pay extra $10 for them to steam the fish for you -.-
Couldn't resist the fish & chips here when every one else was holding a box of it.
They used red snapper for this.. and it's damn nice. I think i died and went to Fish and chips heaven. Despite the meat being firm, it wasn't dry at all! When you eat it , it will dissolve in your mouth. The batter was also very crispy! So happy!!! I can almost imagine the taste in m mouth now. This is a must eat if you go to Pasar Bella! I don't travel to a place specially for Fish & chips, neither do I order fish and chips when I'm in a restaurant because i don't think it is worth it? But this for $18... was worth every cent.. you have to try it to believe it...
Even his grandmother said this was her favourite dish out of all. She's so cute haha.

These meatballs on the other hand.. WERE ATROCIOUS! Just want to bring it back to them and ask if they are seriously serving them to their customers. The meat ball was damnnn dry. And these 8 pieces of meat balls cost $14 I think?? Ikea anytime please. Just listen to me and don't go near to this stall ! This was a regret dish.
When they were choosing fish at the fish market, I asked what his grandmother would like to eat and she said she is fine with anything. But because she can't eat raw food, so I asked if she wants to have rice, she said yes haha. She's damn cute. Old people are the cutest. Seeing her makes me miss my grandmother.. :( Anyway.... so we went to get paella ! I thought it was ok only ley. The one at Marche fares better I think. This was about $13. Good to try once, not good enough for a second try!
Went to the supermarket with them after that. I love grocery shopping!! I think it is a very family-ish thing to do together.. I would totally want to spend every Sunday doing grocery shopping with my hubby. Haha. Anyway it was a very comfortable Saturday, and I was very happy that he took such a huge step to reassure me ! Couldn't ask for more...
