One step at a time

Hihi, work at Cathay with Kelly today! This is actually my first time really working with her, ( not those one shift type) , despite knowing her for so long already. I have to say, it really brought our friendship to another level! And I can completely understand why everyone loves her so much, she is an extreme dear. Work has never been this fulfilling before ( no offence to other people I worked with D:  ) Fulfilling as in, 

Heehee, check this out ( wah sorry the pictures damn blur :( ) Nearly all stocks zero? Yogurt sold out 15mins before shop closed! receipt count was 230+ Freaking power please.... Cathay usually less than 100 receipts one ok.. 

 At about 11.30 this group came in with really nice balloons! ( Spot shushu at the back, the uncle who closes the shop! ) It was one of the girl's 21st, before they left we said " Happy Birthday!!" And they waved back happily. Haha, so cute right. I don't have a thing for balloons actually. Like, I think it's a complete waste of money nd if people buy me that for my birthday, I'll be like wtf. but I'll just act "awwww!!" HAHAHAH ME IZ BEETCH. Really very waste money what? A few days gone. But aiyah... sometimes I see balloons (like today) and I instantly feel better . Weird much.

Oh oh and not forgetting this.

So.. someone asked this on my formspring. Hahahahhaha.

And Wendy came into the shop with this. Hahahaha, isn't it obvious enough? This girl is so silly yet sweet right? See, wo you hen duo hao peng you (Y)! She bought me the fried mushroom la. WTFBBQORGAZMAX even though it looks damn gross. But nom nom. ^^

So I was saying it was really fulfilling because, Wendy, Florencia and Steph came down. Hehe. Gotta love these girls to bits. 

But most of all, ( omg.. I'm going in circles) it's the most fulfilling because Kelly taught me a lot of things o.o

I was totally happy to work, I was mopping the floor, and cutting fruits, and topping up the toppings conscientiously and even though there were endless queues and customers, I didn't even say the usual " wah sian can they please stop coming". I was actually still very eager to serve k. And Kelly was the best, we really ran out of yogurt, but she tried her best to squeeze out the last quickie cup for this customer, that she got yogurt spurted everywhere on her hair, hair, shirt. 

Dedicated max. Best employee award. 

There is this very strong positive vibe about her ( even though she's a bit bleak about life) and she laughs off everything. Maybe that's why I guess I wasn't pekchek with the customers at all? We just kept laughing.. and I like it. I like being happy actually! But I like to make people happy more? :]

I totally small talked the cab driver all the way back. 

Like I told him to make a turn at River Valley instead of going by Tiong Bahru and he gave me those 

"durh. this is the default route" reply. 

and the normal me will be like " err.. I dont know? Some taxi drivers like to go big rounds to cheat peoples' money right"

But instead I said " wah uncle! 你很厉害! bu shi mei ge uncle dou zhi dao zhe tiao lu de!"

Then I think he happy uh, he suddenly drove very fast. So I said 

" wah uncle! 你驾车很快, 好像那个 F1 sia! 很 cool~ "

And he was damn happy la. 

HHAHAHA. 

I wasn't flirting with him hor please. He's damn old. Just making him happy right.

And he asked me why Saturday I go home so early, I say I very guai marhh.

I could tell he was very happy lor. I told him to take care and drive safe ^^

So happy. Gonna try to make every customer happy. 

Don't say I act when I say " have a nice day" hor. Even though I feel it's damn gross. HAHAHA.

And I've decided that it's freaking pointless to spend your time being sad over people who can't be there for you or people who take you for granted, because I can convert this negative energy and use it to make other people happy instead, which will in turn make me happy too! WOOHOO!

So much to learn from Kelly.

Haha, sorry about today's post. It's a mix of super bad English, Chinese and Singlish, and I wonder if you can even make up what I'm saying. Haha, I realise I speak very differently when I'm with different groups of people. Hmmm. It's 3.43am now, and I'm tired like crazy I gotta be up at 9.30am but I'm waiting for my hair to dry.  I don't think it's gonna dry anytime soon, so I'm going to sleep with my wet hair and wake up with a headache tomorrow. Looking forward to tomorrow because Inua is finally coming to find me, and I'll be meeting Sean and Giscelle ( from my favourite proj group)!
