Bkk day 1,2,3

ALOHA!!

So I've been eating Thai food 5 days in a row and raving about it everyday because...

I WAS IN THAILAND. Haha, kind of obvious isn't it?

Didn't want to blog about it but then again there's no need to hide, plus I'd want to remember the trip so may as well!

Touched down around 2pm. But we went to some place ( Idk where) to rent a car and the jam was so bad we only reached the hotel at 7pm? T_T

Stayed at Four Points by Sheraton, it's at Shukumvit. Quite a nice hotel!! It's about $80 a night because they were having some promotion. It's super near Terminal 21 which is a good thing because that means it's super convenient to travel everywhere by train.

The best part about Terminal 21 is that they have a supermarket there haha, it's so hard to find a supermarket in thailand lo. I love supermarket shopping. And they have a Spa called " Let's Relax" which I went the previous time I was there and found it quite awesome.

Anyway, after checking in, and showering, and unpacking our luggage, we went to Ratchada for dinner. It's a super nice place I LOVE IT!

It's like Coastes in Singapore. There's a bit of a beach feel. I'm a sucker for dining by the beach lol.

Anyway this is the only decent picture I have because the place was damn dark.

This is like best thai food I have ever eaten.

Bill came up to around 80SGD but was so worth it because we had a fish, tomyum soup, kangkong, basil chicken, green curry, thai fish cake and some chicken strips PLUS A TOWER OF BEER.

Hahaha. We were saying $80 can't even get a tower of beer in sgp.

Love clear tomyum soup.

 Went to some night market which I have never been, and bought 2 pair of shoes!! SCORE!!!

I got both pairs at like 40 plus dollars. Heehehee.

When I saw this I was like!! OMG I NEED IT IN MY LIFE.

Fell asleep once we went back to the hotel even though we wanted to have round 2 of drinks.

Woke up the next day and had Mcdees!! It's walking distance from the hotel, so for those Mac addicts you are in luck. Everyone says their Pork Samurai Burger is a must try.

It's really quite nice.

The pie is ham and egg which tasted like a deep fried chicken pie. Damn oily.

Then we decided to go to Siam square! I love Siam square because the clothes there are nice and they have all these road side stores that sell super pretty jewelry. Siam square is so huge and they also have many shops selling guys stuff so all your boyfriends can shop there !!

It was damn fucking hot so we went to find Mango Tango and it's really damn good.

Like the sorbet shake is fucking shiok. There is pomelo and tapioca pearls in it damn nice.

I want some now.

The mango sago with coconut is ok only. Can skip it. But pls try the shake if you're there.

The guy beside our table was eating this and we had to order it because it looked damn shiok.

The mango is so sweet, pudding was nice but the icecream WAS DA BOMB.

My friend loved the icecream and I kept eating it still even though I was getting goosebumps from the brain freezing mango shake. i was damn cold already but I wanted to eat la cause it's nice what. But my friend was like " you shouldn't eat the icecream already because you're very cold.. I eat for you ok" HAHAHAHHA I was like... 

Smart ah this friend. Win win situation like that can be noble and can eat icecream.

Went back to change and headed out for dinner.

Idk where this place is, sorry. It's also quite nice!! 

It's a fusion restaurant. there is western, jap and thai food. It's super funny because on the menu it says the chef cannot decide what type of food to serve so it is also called confusion restaurant. HAHAHHAHA.

Double cheese burger which was not bad.

Pork ribs which I thought was damn good. I don't eat pork but I love ribs haha.

 Salmon Aglio Olio which I liked, but pasta was abit overcooked ! I like Aglio olio haha.

Went to a club after that, I think it's called Funky Villa. It's packed like fuck woah. 

Went over to another club called The Pimp or smth and the cover was like... 2000baht which was about 80sgd. YOU MAD BRO. Then we went over to a siam tiu to drink. 

Can shisha there too quite cool.

Woke up the next day and had roadside stall for lunch finally. 

Even the roadside food is not bad. I can totally eat this everyday.

I mean it certainly isn't mind blowing but these two dishes plus two drinks is like less than 6 sgd?

So shiok. Food always taste better when shared don't you think?

Went over to chatuchak.

I am officially not afraid of cute dogs anymore. Haha.

As long as they are obedient.

Went over to Union Mall after and got to eat my egg waffles finally.

*cries*

It's damn nice. I can smell the aroma of these waffles as I'm typing this. I want to franchise it back here.

It's crispy outside and chewy inside. WHAT SORCERY IS THAT??

 Went over to Asiatique for dinner. It's quite a cool place 

Their version of Five and Dime?

 Didn't know they had a flyer over there too!

Went back to the hotel and gambled. This was the first hand and my friend and I both got banluck!
