Selfish Gene Cafe

Hello!! Da jia hao. 

I have been really happy checking off places on my to-go list. 

My friend came to my place to pick me up and off we went to Selfish Gene Cafe at Craig Road! Saw brunch pictures of this cafe on instagram and the scrambled eggs look sooo good. Told my friend about it, and he brought me there!! Silly boy woke up at 10am to ask me if I'm still keen, even tho he only got home at 6am the night before! 

He had the bagel + scrambled eggs

While I had the scrambled eggs with brioche toast. 

Food wise, it's really ok only. Not like FWOAH. 

Ok. I know I've been using this line a lot of times.Haha, but FWOAH is a combination of delicious+shiok+heavenly+damnfuckinggood+ iwanttokneeldownandpray. 

The scrambled eggs were smooth and milky! But I wouldn't go out to say it's the best scrambled eggs ever. The salad on the side was really yummy though! I finished mine and had another half portion of my friend's. hehe. 

Oh yah, my friend also thought that his food was lacking in flavour, so he went to order a piece of ham for $2 lol. ( When the waitress served it, she said " your ham" and she burst out laughing. My friend and I just gave each other the " err... wtf?" face. And then she giggled and walked away. WTH? )

Anyways, it wasn't fantastic or anything, but I guess it was still worth a visit!

Can't wait for the next cafe hunting experience! The Plain cafe is just a stone's throw aaway. Heard they have really good vegemite toasts but they were closed when we walked passed it, 

Took a stroll around Tanjong Pagar area and found Group Therapy! Wah! It was damn noisy! It was like a market! Will visit the next time when it's less packed. Went to a little cafe ( can't rmbr the name ) and watched Modern Family together. Love simple days like these.

Came home , caught a movie, and headed out to CQ. Hanwei joined too!

We went so many many many many places. 

Wings Bar, ShangHai Dolly, Cassis, PlayHouse ( omg that sleazy place ! ) then Aura!

Got home at... 7am. Omg. 

What a day!

I was shag like mad when I got home but it was such a fulfilling Saturday keke.
