Strangers' Reunion

Hey. Went Strangers' Reunion a few days ago. Used google maps to find the place. Was elated when we found it. The place is super rustic but inside feels super cosy, maybe because we were sitting under fair lights. This place feels like home. 

 Had their highly recommended coffee called Magic. Haha, also read that Strangers' Reunion is the home of two time and current Singapore National Barista Champion and second runner up at the World latte art championships. I can't give much comments about coffee cause my knowledge of it is super minimal but this tasted good. Haha

 Went there just for their waffles ($8.90) , which did not disappoint. It was yummy. You can choose to have maple syrup or greek yogurt, but we decided to have it with vanilla ice cream instead.

Caught the chinese zodiac show but jackie chan after that. It was quite nice and funny. I don't like Jackie Chan but every time after watching the behind the scenes parts, I really wanna salute him.

Had YTF after the movie. This is the best YTF ever.

If you have never tried it before you are totally missing out.

It's a supper place and opens from 10pm onwards till sold out or 3am whichever is earlier, they are close on Mondays. I've been eating here since I was 5.

Yum tum tum, the soup you must add anchovies and chilli padi. it's damn power. But sure to leave you thirsty for the rest of the night lol.

 Had a popiah party at home the next day

 Went for work with Xinyi :) The pair of earrings I wore in the picture was an X'mas present from one of the customers. He got his girlfriend to pick a pair for each of us. See, not everyone we meet there has an ulterior motive.. some people are just genuinely kind and nice!! 

Made a yogurt parfait for breakfast today because I very excitedly went to buy the granola yesterday which Sijia recommended. It comes in a carton. I love granolas. I could lose a tooth for granola literally. 

You know how cereal granola usually comes with grains, this is pure clusters. SHIOK.

Every time I eat banana nut crunch, I only look for the clusters.

This is a dream come true.

Added banana and blueberries to this. 

I was toasting bread one day and headed to shower because i hate waiting. I mean what do you do when your bread is toasting?!?! I can only think of instagramming but that will only that me like 10 seconds? I came out of the shower and holy malonely my bread was on fire. Quite funny. Haha.

Woke up on christmas eve with a fever. My life is perfect. Stayed home alone on xmas day and had to eat chips and choc log cake cause there was no food plus i was alone. My life is so sweet. What a lovely xmas.
